Jackson HALOWEEN COSTUME

Hey buddy.  If you remember last year you got a new Iorn Man costume and Heidi did not get a costume.  Your daddy says you want to be the Hulk for Halloween.  If you want to be something besides Iorn Man we need to find stuff from around the house. I think we can make it work tho.  We can get some green body paint and use a pair of your shorts...  do you have any purple sweat pants we can cut.  We can cut off part of the bottom to make them look ragged.  I dont know if you have a green shirt.  I dont think you will want to go without a shirt (cauz it will probably be cold) haha.  I think we can probably do that. Daddy sounded like he had some good ideas too.  Is that what you would like or can you think of something else?

Painting Fun

Yesterday I made this painting.  What do you think?  It was fun to just relax and listen to music and paint.  It was also fun because of the canvas instead of getting a white canvas I painted a black canvas.  That was something I havent done before.  I think when I get home we ought to have you guys paint some stuff to put up on your walls in your bedroom.  Can you think of anything you might like to paint?

 



A walk to the ocean!

I decided the blog needed a new look.  What do you think?  Do you like the fishies I put over too the right side?  They follow the mouse.

The Ocean, itsnt it beautiful!  I love to go watch the boats and hear the ocean waves.  The houses that are by the ocean are very expensive to live in.  Our neighboors have a boat and they want to take us out on the ocean next week if it isnt too cold and windy.  It is startting to get cooler here.  Is it starting to get cooler in Utah?

 Here is some different pictures of the houses. They have so many different looking homes. Look at this one... it is all glass windows along the whole side of the house.  Looking out over the ocean all the time.  I think I would feel like I were living in a fishbowl!

This one is pretty cool too do you see how it has that top part that is all glass. I like the ivy climbing up the house too.

 

Can you spot something else different about the houses here?  Look at the ladder on the roof.  All the homes have that on the roof so that someone can come check the chimney every year before they start building fires in the fireplace.

Heidi,

The statue is a man on a horse.  Do you see the horse jumping out of the water?  It is kindof hard to see.  I will try to get a picture of it up close.  You are right every thing is very very green over here.  That is because it is much more humid.  Humidity means there is water in the air.  Utah and Idaho are very dry and here there is a lot more water.  Yes they drive on the same side of the road as us.  It is only England that drives on the wrong side of the road.  :)  The pastry tasted like a very yummy crasaunt with strawberries and sugar.  It didnt really taste like a donut.  I love you and look forward to talking to you.  When I get home would you like me to give you another piano lesson?  Big hug and kiss from mommy.

I am sorry that your paragraph got erased that must be very frustrating.  It dosnt matter if you want to respond on the blog or email me either way I will get it and I love hearing from you.  I am so proud of you going to school and being so big and tough.  I am so happy you are still practicing your piano.  I am so excited to hear you play when I get back.  I am having a lot of fun and spending a lot of time resting.  I think I am getting a little head cold so I have been just resting today.  Rogers mom and dad are actually in the USA now.  That is kind of funny that they came to America around the same time I came to visit Sweden.  I didnt get to see Roland but I saw Anki earlier in my trip and she is doing very well.  She was very excited to come to the USA.  They are going to go on a road trip.  She said to tell you and Heidi hi.  I probably forgot to tell you tho. I love you and miss you.  Hugs and Kisses from mommy.

 

The old water tower

I am in Landskrona.  This is a big tall water tower. You can see from very far away.  A water tower holds water in case there is an emergency.  Doesnt it look cool? I think it looks kinda like Rupunzels tower.

 

I made some new friends.  Her name is Jenny and her husbands name is Jimmy.  They are so nice. Today I am going with her to Helsinborg.  They have a little girl Jacksons age, Natalie.  We are going to go to IKEA and a toy store.  I will tell you about it when I get home.  Love you.

A little walk

Hi kiddos!  I love hearing about the things you did and are doing.  Thank you for the messages.  I am glad you like the presents and the notes.  I miss you too and love you very much.  I loved looking at the pictures of Jackson and Daddy at the mud race too.  It looks like a lot of fun and a lot of mess ;)

I went for a walk today. I went to a lot of little stores and parks. There is a lot to see and do very close to where I am. I took some pictures while I was out and wanted to show you what its like here.

Look at the baby ducks huddled close to their mommy.  They are so cute!  The ducks dont run away because they are used to getting fed bread. I wished I had some bread crumbs for them.

 

And this is just me being goofy at the park...

This park has a little cafe and a lot of fountains trees and pretty flowers.  There are also a lot of different walkways.  It is very green and pretty.

Instead of having a lot of stop signs they have round abouts.  Do you see where the road goes around in a circle? It is kind of confusing for me when I am trying to drive because I am not used to it.  But it is kinda fun too.  I like how they always have flowers and bushes and trees in the middle of the round abouts.  It would be funny to just drive around and around in circles until you get dizzy!

There is a lot of really cool looking buildings.  They can be very very old sometimes.  I thought this building looked really cool.  Down in the common area they are selling fruits and veggies and there is a big fountain.

Fun Weekend

This is a picture of us with the missionaries.  I didnt know if you guys had seen it.  My camera battery was dead all weekend so I wasnt able to take any pictures :( but I thought you guys might like to see this one :)

I have been having fun I miss you a lot.  I am so happy when I get to talk to you on  the phone and when I read your comments on the blog.  We went to the church here in Sweden this weekend.  They did the lessons in Swedish and someone in the back translated in English so I could understand.  They gave me a little earphone so I could hear in English.  It was fun!  I got each of you a present I will give it to you when I get back on the 18th.

Hey you.  So you enjoy school lunches... Doritos, sandwiches, and little oranges, mmmmm, that does sound yummy.  I have been missing Doritos they dont have them here.  They have other kinds of chips tho... but no Doritos.  I told Roger the other day, I want Doritos and you dont have any here :)

Wow you plaied the violin.  That is awesome.  Is that something you are interested in learning to do?  Why did you play the violin?  How is practicing the piano going.  You are probably ready for another lesson.  I am excited to give you a lesson and hear how much you have improved when I get home.  Mommy will still give you allowance but you have to do your chores and be good for grandma and daddy and practice your piano, and do your homework.

Im proud of you it sounds like you are doing very well in school earning points and everything.  I am glad you are making friends too.  Who are your friends?

Thank you for taking care of Gizmo for me.  I bet he is so glad to have you there.  I love you and miss you so much.

Hey Beautiful!  How are you doing.  I love you and miss you too.  I love hearing about the fun things you are doing.  Im glad you are going to get to stay with daddy you will have a lot of fun.  Playing with your cousins and going to pre-school.  You are getting so big. 

So you want to be Super Girl for Halloween.  That sounds great!  You would be a wonderful Super Girl. 

I wish I could go to the fair with you guys.  I love Peach Days.  You will have to tell me all about it when you get home!

Drag Racing

I love hearing about the things you want to do!  Those are some very good ideas  you both came up with.  I responded to your guys comments.  If you go back through the blog posts if you posted a comment I responded to them underneath :)

Jackson how is school going?  What do you do at school?  Do you have a favorite subject yet?  Hagve you still been practicing piano?  I am so proud of you!

Heidi are you having fun with daddy?  What do you during the day?  I miss calling you, I am not sure where to call you but as soon as I find out I will give you a call.  I miss you and want to gvive you big hugs and sing you big songs and tickle you unti you fall asleep. 

Yesterday we went to a place where cars race. Its called drag racing. They were very, very loud. There were mororcycles and cars and some very old cars. I took some video clips so you could see what its like. There were a lot of mustangs there too. This car at the top I thought it was one of the prettiest cars there. I wonder if they would be willing to trade our mustang for this car ;)

 

Before the cars race they rev their engines and do an excercise where they warm up the tires.  It is very loud and they make a lot of smoke and burn a lot of rubber off of the tires.  Then they back up and when the light turns green they are off.  They go very very fast. 

This video is the cars warming up their tires.  They burn rubber off their tires it smells like tires and there is a lot of smoke.  This is blue car I think is a mustang, but I am not sure. 

Its hard to understand how loud it was when you arent there.  But ill just tell you.... it was loud :)

Smelly Jelly!

About Jellyfish -

 

Some Jellyfish sting but not these ones. These ones cant hurt you because they are very small and they have no tenticals. You can see from the picture why they are called jelly fish they are just... jelly. If I tried to bring one home for you it wouldnt last very long, it would turn back into water. They are very fragile. This one washed up on the shore and will dry out. I will try to find a starfish for you. :)

a message for Heidi

Hello my sunshine!  My beautiful princess!  How are you doing?  I miss seeing your smile in the morning and hearing your sweet laugh at night.  You are just the little girl I always wanted and always love!  Thank you for being my daughter.

I hope you are having fun with daddy!  I know he is glad to be able to spend more time with you!  I am looking forward to all the fun things we are going to do when I get home!  Do you have anything special you want to do?  We should make a list!

I want to spin you around in circles and throw you on the couch then snuggle and watch a cartoon and have popcorn!  I think we should do that.  Thank you for being so good for grandma and daddy while I am gone.  I am so glad to have such a good sweet girl! 

Can you believe next year YOU will be starting school too.  Just like Jackson you are getting so big so fast!  You bring joy to everyone around you with your wonderful smile and sweet personality.  You are getting too big too fast!  We are just going to have to stop feeding you so you can stay mommys little girl forever ;)

a message for Jackson

So Jackson! Tomorrow you start school.  I am so proud of you and hope you have so much fun!  Its going to be busy busy.  Be good for grandma and your teacher... Í know you will be!  You are such a good boy and I am so glad you are my son!  I love you so much and wish I could be there to see you off but know that I am with you in my heart! 

Did you decide which shirt you are going to wear your first day of school?  Angry birds?  leggos?  The joke shirt?  Its a hard decision I know.  If you can ask grandma to take a picture of you before you go to school!  I would love that! 

Remember to smile at the kids and be friendly, you will have a lot of friends soon.  Just like last year.  It took some time to make friends but you will.  If someone dosnt want to be friends just find someone else who does :)  I was so proud of you last year for being friends with that little boy  who got picked on sometimes.  And you helped him a lot and you did it in just the right way.  You got other friends to help you. 

I know you do that for Heidi too and she is so lucky to have a big brother like you!  You watch out for her and help her stay safe and that makes mommy so happy!  You two will be best friends for a very long time and remember sometimes even best friends fight but in the end they are still best friends that is what makes it so special.

I want to hear all about your first day of school so if you want to write about it you can ask grandma to help you or you can tell me about it when i call... or both :)

Weekend Fun

I really liked getting your comments on the blog.  I wasnt sure how to see them at first so I didnt find it.  But now I know!  It sounds like you are having fun riding waverunners, playing at the beach, driving four wheelers, wow!



This weekend I went bowling with Rogers girls.  I am looking forward to going bowling with you guys when I get home.  Rogers girls are Michelle who is 8 years old and Nicole who is 6 years old.  She is the same age as you Jackson.  They are very nice and I think you guys would like them a lot.  They are trying to help me learn swedish.  They went back with their mom now but they were here Saturday and Sunday.

Nicole, Me, Michelle, and Natalie, Natalie is a neighboor friend, also the same age as Jackson.

The Ocean!

I love the ocean and I thought you might like to see it.  I went to swim in the ocean the other day!  It was a lot of fun.  there are jelly fish in the water swimming around with me.  They are very delicate and break very easy!  I didnt get a picture of them but next time i go i will take a picture so you can see them too.

Malmo Festival

In Malmo they had a big festival... we went during the day so there werent as many people there but in the evening there are so many people...millions of people come from all over.  It is kind of like peach days but bigger and in sweden :) 

They had a lot of pople singing or playing instruments as you walked by.

 

There were lots of little booths selling things and rides and they have food from all over the world. I tried some of the food from this place...  i cant remember now where it was from but it was like a scone with onions and sour cream and cheese... tastey

There is a lot of water in Sweden.

jackson, are you being good for daddy? I miss you and think about you all of the time. I have been telling Anki stories about you. She misses you too. everyone, the plane ride was very long but fun. I saw the eiffaal tower in france and im sry about spelling I was so excited to see it along the horizon. i hope some day jackson adn heidi are able to go on an airplane i think they would really like seeing the world from that high up... in the airport i tried talking to a lady from chillie she didnt speak any english but was very enthusiastic about trying to tell me about her trip and everything, most of it i didnt understand at all. we pretty much ended up saying a lot of "oh yes very beautiful" haha. I didnt have any problems getting my medicine through customs which is good and i have started taking less prednizone so hopefully that will help mommy start to feel better.'

when i got here we went walking to a little cafe and went out to eat. I had some greek food... funny i went to sweden to get greek food :P it was very good. I was very tired tho i was not able to sleep on the plan at all except once after the plane had landed and we were taxing into the airport... yes... then i finally fall asleep...
